  1. Practice critical, analytical and systems thinking skills in researching, analyzing, and comparing the different issues regarding the use of resources in Florida.

    In the short paper, demonstrate an understanding of

    1. complex relationships between individuals and the communities in which they live and work.
      through an analysis of
      • the issues relevant to air quality in SW Florida. Suggest some possible solutions.
      • the issues relevant to fresh water quality in SW Florida. Suggest some possible solutions.
      • the issues relevant to salt water quality in SW Florida. Suggest some possible solutions.
      • the issues relevant to energy availability and conservation in SW Florida. Suggest some possible solutions.

  2. Demonstrate community awareness

    Discuss the topic selected by the group facilitator regarding issues concerning basic resources in Florida on the webboard.
