BCH 3023C Biochemistry
This course investigates the biochemistry of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids. The principles of enzymology, metabolism, and bioenergetics are investigated. The course is integrated with a laboratory component and active learning strategies are employed. Course materials are made available to the student on the internet; thus students can have access to course assignments and are better prepared when they come to class. There are are links to course syllabus and lecture notes below. Other sites of interest and which are relevant resources are also provided.

My research interest include the following:

1. Lipids in health and disease

2. Cardiac markers in acute coronary syndrome.
