Assessment/Grades

50% of Grade--Portfolio.  Students are to organize the work from this class to present it in a user-friendly way.  This mean selecting what best demonstrates the student's completion of assignments and excellence.  The Portfolio may include: 
 

1. A written self-assessment (revisit your Accomplished Practices surveys)                       . 
2. Documentation and written artifacts of school visits or interviews
3. Written work from weekly lessons linked to Week-by-Week
4. Narratives, e.g., reactions and cooperative learning postings on the WebBoard
5. Research paper (graduate students only)

                    NOTE: The portfolio may be in electronic form and turned in via e-mail
 

40% of Grade--Weekly Assignments (See Week-by-Week linked lessons)
 

10% of Grade--Attendance based on the quantity and quality of weekly electronic communications.
