     If your child has been identified as Learning Disabled he has an average to above average IQ. He is “smart”.  However, he may have what is called a processing deficit.  This means that he has difficulty processing information taken in through the senses.  This is also called perception.  Below are listed the most common areas of perception which affect learning.  Click on the links for more information.
