Activity

A 10-year-old boy, Johnny comes to you to looking distraught and traumatized.  He was rambling about his friend Sarah and what happened in the play ground after school.  After calming him down, you realize that he saw blood on Sarah's shorts.  He though that Sarah had an accident, but she wasn't concerned.  She went home, and he was left hanging to figure out what was going on.  Now, he is asking you to explain the situation.

Before explaining the situation to Johnny consider the following:

      1. You need to discuss the 5 phases of the Ovarian Cycle in layman's language.

      2. Remember that you are speaking to a 10-year-old boy.

      3. Use examples that he can relate to.

      4. If necessary, draw pictures to support your description.

Present your output to the instructor.
