  ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization)

 

  • Day and Time:  Check with your instructor
  • Destination:  ECHO, Inc., 17430 Durrance Road, North Fort Myers, 33914.  Phone 543-3246
  • Directions:
    From the North:  From I-75 take Exit 143 (State Road 78) and turn left (head east).    In exactly 1.1 miles you will see the ECHO sign at a road that only goes left.  (The name of the road is Durrance, but our sign is easier to see.)  We are 0.2 miles down that road on the left.
From the South:  From I-75 take Exit 143 (State Road 78) and turn right (head east).  In exactly 1.1 miles you will see the ECHO sign at a road that only goes left.  (The name of the road is Durrance, but our sign is easier to see.)  We are 0.2 miles down that road on the left.
From the West:  Take route 78 east toward the Civic Center (or get on I-75 and follow directions above).  Route 78 is called Pine Island Road to the west of Route 41, and Bayshore Road to the east of Route 41.  One mile beyond I-75 you will see the ECHO sign at a road that only goes left.  (The name of the road is Durrance, but our sign is easier to see.)  We are 0.2 miles down that road on the left.
From the East:  Take Route 80 to I-75, then follow directions from the south above.
  • What to wear:  Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking.  We will not be on a boardwalk.
  • What to bring:  Journal, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, water, possibly a camera, if you wish.
