Topic:   "Past as Prologue in School Reform"

Objective:

With past school reform efforts as a backdrop, students will describe their anticipated role in accomplishing the present day national agenda for school change as outlined in Goals 2000.

Survey: This survey is a self-inventory for teachers in the classroom.  If you are a pre-service
             teacher,  please complete the survey as a preview of good classroom practice.

                Go to the WebBoard and complete the weekly media reaction writing (see requirements page for definition)

(1) Summarize the message to classroom teachers that the site Teachers and Goals 2000 delivers and point out any themes that remind you of past school reform efforts. 

(2) Given the results of the change survey you filled out above, what do you think will be your greatest challenge as you anticipate being a key player in accomplishing the spirit and substance of Goals 2000?
