In tenth grade I began working with a new resource teacher.  And that was when everything began to change.  He helped me stop feeling sorry for myself.  The meaning he gave me for LD proved to be the most powerful one of all.  “You just Learn Differently,” he said to me.  “You are right about the lazy part though, but that is your choice.”  I was stunned again, but in a good way this time.
