The "For Kids Only" Learning Disabilities Website
WELCOME!

Children of all ages love to learn and need their parents' and teacher's support to learn. It is important to remember that learning and student achievement both begin at home.  The school and home are the building blocks upon which children can begin to grow and mature.  When parents play learning games with their children, the children generally do better in school. As a result, the children often do better in life!

In order for student achievement to take place, there must be people working with the student to meet a common goal... success and growth! These people working collaboratively to help the student to achieve would be the family and teachers. Although they can help in many ways, the student must want to achieve.

An important site that gives parents questions to ask, provides answers to commonly asked questions, reviews parental rights, and aids in being prepared is http://www.pacer.org/faq/faq.htm
