Basic Tips

·        Study same time everyday

·        Be comfortable, not too comfortable

·        Bright lights

·        No windows or other distractions

·        Clear work area

·        Materials ready

·        Keep it quiet!

 

If you feel stressed:

 

·        Take a break

·        Stretch, take a walk, shower

·        Then go back and review your notes to get back on track

Six Ways to be a Better Learner

  1. Stop, listen, look, think

  2. Read the question or problem out loud.

  3. Check for mistakes.

  4. Ask yourself questions.

  5. Ask the teacher questions.

  6. Use memory tricks.
