Entamoeba polecki

Entamoeba polecki. Cyst in fecal smear (trichrome stain, oil immersion). As is seen here, a cyst of E. polecki is typically uninucleate; in this cyst, no chromatoid bodies are seen but instead a dark-staining inclusion mass is present.
