Entamoeba hartmanni

Entamoeba hartmanni. Cyst in fecal smear (iron hematoxylin stain, oil immersion). In this immature, binucleate cyst, a large chromatoid body is in sharp focus and a second, smaller one is in poor focus. Immature cysts are a common feature in E. hartmanni infections.
