Grading Policy: Final grades will be determined by considering the following:

    Integrated PowerPoint Lesson
20%
    Quizzes/ Exams (2)
15%
    Critical Thinking Calendar
20%
    We Love Mathematics and Science Day
5%
    3 Clues
5%
    Attendance 
 5%
    Total
100%

  Grade Scale. The following scale provides the basis for final grades, based on total points:
 

92 to 100
84 to 91
C
76 to 83
D
68 to 75
F
below 67
No plus or minus grades will be given

Policies

Burns, Marily. About Teaching Mathematics

Attendance at all scheduled classes is expected. 

Punctuality is required of all students. 

Excessive tardies/absences (more than 1) will result in a lowered grade.  LATE PAPERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Quizzes/exams/activities are given ONLY on the date scheduled. 

All teachers and future teachers are expected to use correct spelling and grammar at all times.  The use of incorrect grammar and/or spelling will result in a lowered grade. 

All assignments should reflect knowledge of the Florida Curriculum Framework Goal 3 Standards and the Florida Sunshine State Standards (Mathematics/Science) and include an environmental emphasis.

Academic honesty is expected of all students at all times.
