IV. 1st Submission

 

The first submission should be double-spaced with line numbers, a footer with your name and date and section CRN.

The first submissions accounts for 25% of your final grade. It will be used in the funding panel to decide which among you will obtain a 95% on your proposal, and not be required to submit a revised version. Your proposal will be discussed and peer reviewed as part of the Funding Panel in class during week 9. Upload your first submission into the appropriate dropbox on ANGEL.

Here is a rubric to help you evaluate your first version

 
The following sections are required for the first submission. See Project Description for details about each section.

 

 

A. Cover Sheet

Here is a link to Open Office if you do have a copy of word.

 

 

B. Abstract: (Summarize the study.)

(Max 100 words)

 

C.  Table of Contents (list of proposal sections/subsections)

(1 page)

 

D. Introduction: (Why is this important?)

(Max 500 words)

 

 

E. Research Objectives: (What you intend to do?)

(Max 100 words)

 

 

F. Methods: (How you will conduct the study?)

(Max 700 words - data analyses for 2nd submission)

 

 

G. Literature Cited

This needs to be complete.There is no minimum or maximum number of citation. You must adequately support your proposal.

 

 

H. Curriculum Vitae: (Biographical Information)

As long as you need.

 

 

 

First Submission:
Will include all sections, including statistical analyses in the Methods and the Broader Implications.
