Participation

 

Your participation provides you with the best opportunity to learn. For your own records you should prepare an organized portfolio of materials. It is my desire that by critically evaluating yourself, the class, and me as an instructor, you can gain a better understanding of the educational process and how your actions relate to what you get out of your classes. As mentioned in my statement of teaching philosophy, I am attempting to help you learn. It is an active process requiring two willing participants. Demonstrate how much information you have acquired and understand by participating in class and lab activities and in your portfolio. Your portfolio will be a unique history of your experiences in General Biology.
