Parent Volunteers We provide parents multiple opportunities to participate in their child's school day. We offer an on site childcare center for parents to leave their young children at while they volunteer in the school. The childcare site offers two-hour blocks of service and is manned by a parent volunteer staff. When volunteering in your child's school you will be asked to, "join in the learning fun." We expect our volunteers to be active participants in their child's classroom or school working to meet the special needs of our children. When contacting the volunteer supervisor you will be asked to state your areas of interest or specialty. Are you a creative individual that would enjoy singing or making art projects with the children? Would you enjoy reading stories with children one to one? Would you like to assist in the library or physical education program? We hope to match each parent interested with a volunteer project that they can feel comfortable and excited about.
