Our Purpose:
To build school, family,
and community partnerships that are meaningful, ongoing and designed to reach all
families. This positive relationship equals student success. Families that become
familiar with and support school activities will make the difference in their child's
education.
Our Vision:
Sawgrass Elementary School: A Collage of Learners,
is a place where all children are offered a developmentally appropriate, safe
and positive learning environment that encourages all members to achieve their
highest potential. The primary
purpose is the development of the total child. Sawgrass Elementary shares with
families and the community the important work of assisting children toward the
achievement of their intellectual, social, emotional and physical potential.
At Sawgrass Elementary, we have a vision of trust and mutual respect
among our community of learners.
Our Mission:
Sawgrass Elementary School: A Collage of Learners,
will provide a safe, secure environment where the importance of teaching and
learning is held in high regard. In
our school, we will provide an atmosphere supportive of the professional growth
of our staff, which will ensure that all students have the opportunity to become
creative thinkers, problem solvers, and effective communicators.
We are a community of life long learners where school, home, and the
community come together to accomplish our mission.
