Parent Support Buddies Our Parents Supporting Parents program is designed to ensure that all new families feel welcome and secure in our school community. In this program new families are teamed up with families who have experience with our school schedule and community. They provide the family with any supports they need. They answer questions such as ho do I order lunch, where is the PTA meeting this evening and what is school spirit day? In addition to answering general school questions the supporting family helps introduce the family to the school community at open houses and parent workshops. they connect the family with volunteer supervisor, parent association and school support staff. Our main goal is to help our new families in the transition to a new school with compassion, friendship and support. Back to Parenting... Click Here |
