Homework Liaisons During the summer interviews with families our teachers discuss with parents the amount and type of homework that will be given during the school year. At this time parents can discuss any accommodations that they will need in this area. Parent, child, and teacher will set a homework schedule for the child to follow during the upcoming school year. We also provide a homework club after school where children can go for assistance in completing their homework. Parents in the classroom are grouped in teams of two as homework buddies. They will contact their buddy if their child missed school and needs the assignment or if they are unsure of how to complete an assignment. The classroom web site will also carry homework hints and information for each week, complete with examples on how to complete assignments.
