READINGS:
You should have completed Oral History. We will be discussing items from this book in class.
Assignments:
1. Utilizing the data you know about the Estero Bay issues, write ten questions that you feel are relevant and usable for an interview with one of the participants.
2. Do a brief interview with a person who either lived through the
depression, World War II, or the Vietnam conflict and learn from that
person his/her experiences during that time period. In the case of
the armed conflict periods, this does not have to be a combatant. It
can be anyone who lived through the time period. Come to class
prepared to discuss the results of your interview. You need not write
up your interview or hand in any writing, but you may want to make
notes so that you can present your interview in class.
