Health Care Information Systems

Many organizations use the Internet to communicate important information to prospective employees about career opportunities. You can also communicate with current employees on a large scale at one time. Find a health care organization on the Internet and review the website. The website must contain enough information for you to answer the assignment questions. Once you have located and reviewed the website answer the following questions.

1. What is the health care organization you located and what is the address? What type of HSO is it and what is the mission?
2. Summarize the website content and decide who the audience is for each information section.
3. Review the career opportunities section. What kind of information does the organization provide over the Internet to prospective employees?
4. What information is available to current employees? Is the medium effective? Why/ why not?
5. Is there any other type of medium you would choose to relate the information from the website? What are the traditional methods for distribution of this information?
6. How do you feel about organizational communication for HSOs using the Internet as a medium? What type of information does it communicate effectively or ineffectively?

It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the instructor has received the paper, regardless of how the paper is being submitted.
