FINAL PAPER
The Student will choose a topic related to the Health Information Systems field.
OPTION A: An informative research paper that demonstrates a synthesis of ideas related to the course content and Health Information Systems in the 21st Century.
OPTION B: A major position paper identifying and analyzing the main concepts, and strategies as specified in the course objectives. This paper may be a comparative analysis of 2 or more HIS concepts including your position for or against them.
OPTION C: A critical review that demonstrates a synthesis of ideas related to the course content and how it related to your health profession.
OPTION D: Any other approved project ideas that demonstrates your breadth of knowledge of Health Information Systems or a specific area of Health Information Systems.

CRITERIA AND DUE DATES
1. Topic Proposal: Submit a brief written statement of intent identifying your final paper topic
. DUE: January 27th by 9:00 am
2. Outline: After researching your topic, submit an outline demonstrating your flow of ideas for your paper.
DUE: February 24th by 9:00 am
3.. Final Paper:
DUE: April 14th by 9:00 am
The Final paper will consist of the following:
a. title page
b. abstract
c. table of contents
d. body of paper including introduction, body, and conclusion
e. reference page
