Miscellaneous Intestinal Nematodes

Trichostrongylus orientalis, saline wet preparation. This egg resembles the hookworm egg; however, Trichostrongylus eggs tend to be more elongate and the ends are more pointed rather than being very broad. In this egg, as well as hookworm, there is the space between the egg shell (thin) and the developing larva.
