Enterobius vermicularis

Enterobius vermicularis. Embryonated egg, cellulose tape preparation (unstained, high power). Three typical infective eggs. Note that the shell is moderately thick and transparent. Characteristically, the egg is somewhat flattened on one side and, when infective, contains a larva.
