Enterobius vermicularis

Enterobius vermicularis. Fertile eggs in cellulose tape preparation (unstained, low power). Even at low magnification and with debris scattered throughout the field, these eggs are readily seen and recognized by their size, shape, and presence of larvae within them. Recall that pinworm eggs measure 50 to 60 µm by 20 to 30 µm.
