Find a University or Health Care Administrator who has been on a self-study team from one of your local health care institutions or colleges.  The administrator does not need to be a health professional.

Set up an appointment with the person you have identified in order to conduct an interview.  The interview should be 30-45 minutes in length.

Prepare a list of questions which focus on the work of the self-study team for an interview.  The questions are largely to help you stay focused as well as to provide the interviewee with a notion of the content.  Once you start the interview most individuals with experience in accreditation will address personal experiences.  Be sure to emphasize the positive and negative outcomes in your questions.

Prepare a 1-1.5 page written report for a meeting in which you will highlight the agency, the interview, and your general analysis of the responses.
