This written assignment is for you to develop a CASE STUDY IN ACCREDITATION.  The case can be from real life, from our own experience, from the experience of colleagues, from your reading, or finally from your imagination.  It should focus on a realistic problem which needs to be solved.  

The case study should include the following:

1. The fictional name of an institution of higher education or health care delivery.
2. A paragraph of the programs or services the institution provides.
3. The demographics of the city/region of the institution as necessary.
4. The name of the accreditation agency.
5. One to two pages describing the central issues of the case study.  For example, the case may involve a student complaint about uncompensated work, a program that has an unusually high number of failures in the national boards, wide-spread infection in a hospital, lack of quality control in the delivery of services.
