All students will prepare the assignment below. The assignment is required of all students.

1. Write, investigate on the Internet, or phone your own health profession accrediting agency and obtain a copy of current standards (essentials) to be used in later assignment.
2. Your instructor will provide you in hard copy or on-line with a series of 35-50 objective questions in examination form. These questions need to be answered as part of your assignment. During the next lesson the answers will be provided as a basis of your own assessment of your background knowledge in the general area of accreditation. There will not be a grade and the results will not be recorded. Students will have the opportunity to check their work.
