Predictability
Predictability can be achieved by being consistent and following conventional orders or arrangements. If a user presses a button labeled "Find" in one screen and presses another button labeled "Find" on a different screen, the same result should occur. Locate buttons in the same place from screen to screen, use the same wording in labels and messages, and be consistent in the coloring scheme through the different screens. This predictability from screen to screen will make learning the interface easy and result in lower training time and costs.
