Teaching Philosophy

I tend to see myself as a coach rather than as a source of knowledge. It's not my job to make you think a certain way, but rather to get to perform at your highest level. It is my job to create a classroom environment conducive to a free and reasoned exchange of ideas. It is also my job to establish clear expectations regarding your performance and to grade you accordingly. To facilitate this, I have included grading criteria in this syllabus.
