3 Basic Components of Learning 

• Gagne theorized 3 basic components of learning that need to be understood.

  1) Types or domains of learning
      He identified 5 types of learning
  2) Internal Conditions for Learning
      Which may be divided into essential and supportive prerequisites
  3) External Conditions for Learning
      Divided into the 9 phases of learning.  Note that in some writing 8 or 10 phases
      may be identified, but we will stick to 9 to avoid confusion.
