The figure represents the point at the point at which the individual constructs knowledge.
Construction of knowledge is a process that occurs at the point where the individual interacts with the world within the cultural framework that is similar to a filter that colors the meaning that attribute to all the information they receive through their senses.
In addition, construction requires the use of prior knowledge in both the conceptual and metacognitive domains. Construction as a construct can be deconstructed to include both instantiation and textbase as shown above.
