: Whats hard for me to accept is when my father asks my advice and I tell him my opinion, he doesn't believe me. But then a home care nurse comes in (that he has never met before) and tells him the same thing I told him and he listens to her.
I think it is hard for parents to believe that their children know things
that they do not. I think they find it easier to trust strangers sometimes
