: : : : : :
: : : : : : : I guess that method works for me because I have such easy access to it. I wonder what I would do if I were a civilian like my parents. They rely on me to find them the best care. Pressure!!

: : : : : : I can relate to that. It's even harder when they live out of state
: : : : : : and want advice on what to do, you don't know the Dr.'s where they live.

: : : : : Whats hard for me to accept is when my father asks my advice and I tell him my opinion, he doesn't believe me. But then a home care nurse comes in (that he has never met before) and tells him the same thing I told him and he listens to her.

: : : : I think it is hard for parents to believe that their children know things
: : : : that they do not. I think they find it easier to trust strangers sometimes

: : : I guess your right but they should know that their children only want the best for them and you really don't know what kind of background the "stranger" has.
: : Thats true parents are funny I guess thats why we love them

: Remember too, they still think of you as "children". Sometimes they are amazed at what we know.

That is very true. Sometimes I am amazed at what I know. Still I think it is frustrating when my parents don't even call to tell me they have a problem healthwise. I would like to know and then tell them what information I know about it.
