Trichomonas vaginalis

Trichomonas vaginalis trophozoite, Giemsa stained. Tear drop shaped, 15-18 µm in length and 14-15 µm in width. Note an unduating membrane running about one-half of the body and the single nucleus. The axostyle is a characteristic of trichomonads
