Iodamoeba buetschlii

Iodamoeba beutschlii and Entamoeba hartmanni. Trophozoites in fecal smear (trichrome stain, oil immersion). The larger trophozoite of Iodamoeba has a large, red-staining karyosome, whereas the smaller, more delicate-staining trophozoite of E. hartmanni has a typical small nucleus and a punctate karyosome.
