Human Resources Development (HRD) is Basically Synonymous with Org. Behavior

• HRD FOCUSES MORE ON PEOPLE AND LESS ON STRUCTURE, WHICH CHARACTERIZES ITS DIFFERENCES WITH ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR.

  • Many ideas and individuals led to the concepts in HRD, however, they are depicted best by Thomas Sergiovanni and Robert Starratt in Supervision: Human Perspectives (1971).
