Directions:

• Write a paper on an overview of a selected environmental problem based on a chapter of your choice from Part II of Our Common Future.  Alternately, if Our Common Future is not in print or available, the write a paper on one of the Chapters of Agenda 21 (from Chapter 3 onward) and support the arguments or positions stated in the selected chapters with examples drawn from the web.
• Both state or summarize the problem and give your reaction to it.
• You may, of course, use additional sources of information. Do you agree it is a problem? If so, how can we develop policy to move toward solutions. Make a case.
• Paper must be typed (double-spaced), 3-4 pages in length.

• Send this assignment as an attachment to the Web Board.
