- Collecting, managing and storing evaluation data
- Issues involved in analyzing data and presenting results.
- Informed consent.
Homework:
1. Answer the odd numbered discussion questions found for the assigned chapters in the Emison book.
2. Finalize a set of evaluation questions you want to propose in evaluating the FGCU course IDS 3920 - University Colloquium. Use these criteria from the World Bank in developing the questions and explain how each question reflects these criteria.
- Relevance: Do the objectives and goals match the problems or needs that are being addressed?
- Efficiency: Is the course delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner?
- Effectiveness: To what extent does the course curriculum achieve its objectives? What are the supportive factors and obstacles encountered during the implementation?
- Impact: What happened as a result of the course? This may include intended and unintended positive and negative effects.
- Sustainability: Are there lasting benefits after the course is completed?
