(A Film Series)

Instructions:

This is a film series designed to familiarize the participant with the historical use, application and subsequent banning of DDT to control the spread of Malaria in the interest of addressing the question of whether such banning pits public health versus environmental health interests. Those wishing to receive course credit for this exercise must additionally purchase and read the following books and read the attached articles in addition to viewing the films. The two texts are NOT available in the FGCU bookstore and will need to be purchased online. To receive credit for this assignment read ALL readings and watch ALL videos and write a 20 page essay answering the question of whether human health is being sacrificed by continuing to ban DDT from use to prevent mosquito borne Malaria. All work must be cited and referenced in APA format and include one inch margins and be typed in 12 pica type (New Times Roman).
