Core Philosophy: Faculty in the College of Health Professions believe there is a common core of knowledge, values and behaviors intrinsic to all disciplines and that holistic learning experiences are greater than the sum of individual discipline specific experiences. Acquisition of this common core is strengthened through early and ongoing collaborative experiences in an interdisciplinary learning environment. This enables students to develop an understanding and appreciation of roles and contributions of all disciplines and practitioners toward holistic health care delivery. Integration of this common core into each program curriculum fosters interdisciplinary insight, provides foundations for higher level of skills and forms of College of Health Profession's identity.
