Your application assignment this week is to begin the process of looking at how you will set boundaries for your group's study.
I.  The first area is human subject protection. 1)  Your first task is to address the issue of informed consent.  How will you assure that participants/subjects are fully informed?  What about voluntary participation?  What might you include on your consent form?  Write a statement about how how your group will address these concerns.  2)  Write a statement about protecting subjects' confidentiality and annonymity.
II.  The next area is Sampling.  1)  Where will your subjects/participants come from? 2)  What type of sampling strategy will you use?  3)  How many will you need?  4)  What are the inclusion and exclusion criteria for participating in your study?
