Community Teaching Project Evaluation Criteria




Project Objectives:  The student(s) will:

1.    At least one week prior to implementation, finalize teaching project with faculty and establish
       a mutually acceptable time and place for implementation with target group. (5 points)
       Comments:
 

2.    Write clear, realistic, and measurable objectives  (A suggested  format for objectives 2, 3, 4, 6 will be provided)  (10 points)

3.    Develop a logical and comprehensive content outline (20 points).
       Comments:
 

4.    Develop teaching-learning strategies appropriate to cultural values, developmental, and educational level   of  audience (20 points).
       Comments:
 

5.    Implement teaching project with evidence of preparation, organization, and responsiveness to audience questions
       (15 points)
       Comments:
 

6.    Evaluate teaching project based on mutually set objectives  (15 points)
       Comments:
 

7.    Submit completed teaching project  with evaluation and all teaching materials showing comprehensive,
       scholarly approach through audiovisuals, handouts, and community interaction on date due (15 points).
