What FGCU students can do:

 

1. Write letters to editors

2. Vote

3. Contact state and local officials

4. Learn about related legislation and policy

5. Attend meetings

6. Join relevant groups

7. Inform others

8. Become involved in local HUD initiatives like the Neighborhood Link or   

    other volunteer activities within HUD

9. Work with Habitat for Humanity

10. Attend and participate in the Affordable Housing Advisory Meetings in both Lee and   

      Collier Counties

 

Remember Gandhi’s famous words:”nothing we do as individuals matters, but that it is vitally important to do so anyway.”  Put in correct context it means that individual efforts will combine to yield a much greater outcome, that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
