Deborah Halliday, M.P.A., conducted a study in 2002 for the Lee County Affordable Housing Committee entitled, The public costs of inadequate affordable housing in Lee County, Florida. The study details economic losses, transportation infrastructure, education, and health care costs. The findings and conclusions of the results of the study are stated, along with numerous recommendations for the future of affordable housing in Lee County, Florida.
