OVERVIEW OF ASSIGNMENT: This
assignment will be done on an individual basis by the student. The
student is responsible for selecting a journal article pertaining
to the module topic. The journal article must come from a
professional, peer reviewed publication. (If you have questions
regarding journal selection, please ask me.) This written
assignment is worth a total of 10 points toward your final
grade. The paper will be evaluated based on the guidelines and
criteria stated below. Please ensure that it is turned in by
9:00 a.m. on 06/12/00. LATE
ASSIGNMENTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WITH
PENALTY.
GUIDELINES and GRADING:
Each student will select a journal article and provide
a summary and analysis of the article. The summary should address
purpose, background, methods, results and limitations of the study
as stated by the author(s). The analysis will state the
relationship to the module topic as well as the relevance, as you
see it, to health service administration. In other words, what
implications do the results of this study have on the health care
industry from an administrator's point of view?
