STUDY ACTIVITY 6.1: Imagine a group of wheelchair bound elders, who reside at a nursing home, exercising together along with their favorite music while outside in the morning sun after breakfast.  Describe all the factors that would have a positive impact on these elders.

STUDY ACTIVITY 6.2: What do you think the chances are that a person who has never engaged in physical activities throughout life would adhere to a physical exercise routine prescribed by their physician for health reasons? Discuss the factors that would impede and contribute to compliance. Develop a contract with this individual.

STUDY ACTIVITY 6.3: The F & F text discusses the factors of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors among elders related to why they do not tend to exercise, including the lack of impact by physicians. If you had to change the situation and get more elders exercising, which area do you believe would have the greatest impact? Describe why and how you would go about it.
