STUDY QUESTION 2.1:
Describe your perceptions of your own health, your health
care practices, and your attitudes toward health care. Discuss the ironic
component of elders attitude of independence and avoidance of health care with a
potential outcome of dependence due to disability from chronic illness.
STUDY QUESTION 2.2: Choose one or more theories that you think best describes the aging process. Provide a rationale for your choice based on some personal life experience or on someone you know. STUDY QUESTION 2.3:
Describe two situations of ageism in the elder population
that you are aware of personally or have heard about. Also describe how
circumstances could be changed to prevent them from occurring.
