Enterobius vermicularis

Enterobius vermicularis. Adult female worm (unstained, low power). These worms are frequently seen in or on feces and sometimes adhere to cellulose tape preparations. The female is small, about 8 to 13 mm long by 0.3 to 0.5 mm in diameter, and, has a long, sharply pointed tail. Often the body is filled with eggs.
