Entamoeba histolytica

Entamoeba histolytica. Trophozoite in fecal smear (trichrome stain, oil immersion). This elongated trophozoite also has vacuolated cytoplasm and an atypical nucleus containing a small central karyosome and fine peripheral chromatin.
